October 14, 2017, brings delightful autumn weather and interesting vendors to both the Fernandina Beach Arts Market and the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market. With both markets open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine, there is something for everyone among the over sixty booths that will be set up on North Seventh Street and in the Pineland Bank parking lot on the corner of Eighth and Centre Streets.
The Arts Market is gearing up for the holiday shopping season with more vendors than ever!
Look for vendors like BC Gemstones. Bill and Christina take collectible coins and make them into men’s rings starting at just $30.00. Be sure to ask about their 1882 Morgan Silver Dollar. You will also find an amazing selection of both beautiful and practical handmade handbags at Suly’s Sewing. Long-time vendor, Mermaid’s Walk Jewelers bring a wide variety of shark’s tooth jewelry in traditional or wire wrapped settings of earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. You will also find pottery, stained glass, woodworking and more. Everything in the booths found at the Arts Market is hand-made, or home crafted. There is no direct marketing, re-selling, or flea market merchandise in the Fernandina Beach Arts Market.
Right next door you will find Florida’s friendliest farmers market and they will also be open this Saturday. From vendors like Congaree and Penn, Me, Myself, and Pies, Seven Trees and Amelia Pasta, you will find an incredible selection of seasonal produce, fresh baked breads and pastries, honey soap, soy candles, specialty dishes, salmon, shrimp, beef and more. Music this week will be provided by Bruce Beville and the Laid Back Band. For more information, you will find both markets on facebook.
