This is the 2nd Saturday of the month, so the Fernandina Beach Arts Market will be set up adjacent to the farmers market on North Seventh Street, historic Fernandina.
With over 25 arts and craft vendors, these exhibitors are hand selected for their talent and abilities. You won’t find any retail or re-selling of merchandise; there works are handmade, handcrafted works of art. You’ll find glass works, fabric arts, driftwood art and painting, apparel, pottery, fine jewelry, hand bags, whimsical jewelry, tie dye and more.
While it is usually best to wait until mid-March to believe our danger of frost has passed, Everblooming Gardens have white gardenias, bougainvillea, climbing roses, and azaleas, that are perfect for planting in your spring garden. The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market offers plenty of landscaping, patio, hanging baskets and potted plants to get you thinking spring such as long time vendor, Seven Trees, who will bring seasonal varieties to the farmers market. Currently, they have ornamental cabbage, bleeding hearts just in time for Valentine’s Day, and healthy blooming baskets that help set the mood for outdoor living.
Both markets are open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine.
For more information please find either market on facebook or the world wide web.
