The 2nd Saturday of the month marks the return of the Fernandina Beach Arts Market to historic Amelia Island. We are located adjacent to the farmers market in downtown Fernandina Beach. When you walk through the arts and craft booths you will be surprised at how many people you know. These booths are filled with your neighbors, friends and relatives showing off their artistic talents. This is NOT a flea market! There will be art, apparel, stationery, pottery, toys, fine jewelry, crafts, local inventions and so much more!
March 8, 2014, at our sister market, the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers’ market, will be a festival of delights! They have a new vendor in Herbalist Marge Powell with Magnolia Hills. She will be joining the farmers’ market with fresh cilantro, marjoram, oregano, parsley, sage and more.
One of the market’s favorite vendors, Rose’s Unbelievable Egg Rolls, returns with her authentic Vietnamese egg rolls, and the wildly popular kettle korn vendor, Korn-A-Kopia, has decided to join us in historic, downtown Fernandina beach each and every Saturday.
Both markets also offer a FREE opportunity for a traditional Fernandina Beach brick and mortar business to show our community what they offer. Dates are filling up fast for you to bring your business and products to our customers in a friendly, face to face location.
Larry Lemier is returning with his guitar to set the atmosphere with your soft rock favorites, and the youth choir, Allegiance, directed by Pam Helton with Amelia Baptist Church will be at the farmers market to raise money for their summer mission trip. The young travelers plan to visit New York City this summer where they will work with the New York School of Urban Ministry. While in New York they will perform, experience prayer walks to Ground Zero, feed the homeless at The Bowery, and work on other NYSUM projects.
