The Fernandina Beach Arts Market is hosting a Fall Festival on Sunday, October 13, 2013! From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM the corner of Lime and S. 14th Streets, on Amelia Island, is being transformed into a Pumpkin Patch!
This semi-monthly farmers market is bringing in slides and a Pirates bounce house for the kids, while adults shop among a variety of arts, crafts and food booths.
New to the market will be Trails Natural Soap Company. Created with your health and the environment in mind, their soaps are made for vegans, athletes and others who follow a Paleo lifestyle. In additions, 10% of the sale of each bar goes to special charities that value life and the outdoors.
Another new vendor, appropriate for the Fall Festival, is Batty Bobs Woodcrafts who specialize in bat houses. These hand crafted houses offer bats a safe place to sleep during the day away from the hot Florida sun and their natural predators. At night, fear not, for these flying mammals earn their keep around your home by devouring mosquitoes, moths and midges.
The market is growing and looking for additional vendors, musicians and artists. For more information find us on facebook, or call (904) 557-8229.
