Fine Arts and Crafts

Adjacent to the farmers market is the Arts Market. With 30 tents of fine arts and crafts you will find acrylics, mixed media, tie dye, pet collars and leashes, watercolors, fabrics and apparels, children gifts, and don’t forget this Sunday is Mother’s Day! You will certainly find something fun and unique for Mom at either market. Hand crafted soaps, pillow sprays and home grown loofah sponges are available at Osborne Ranch, unique soy candles in both markets, and amazing belly jewelry from Bougie B in the Arts Market. Also author and illustrator Mike Crowder will be at the market to sign his very special books. Grey Sheep graphics offer original art for original minds; these are not your normal “A is for Apple” alphabet reading books. Learning the alphabet has been kicked up a notch when parents and grandparents alike will enjoy reading to the youngsters “C is for coelacanth. His other book, Hammy Hammerhead’s (almost) Big Adventure, is a story about a young hammerhead shark who is having one of those days. First he has to clean his room before he can hang out with his friends the bull shark the Mako shark and the nurse shark who want to get in a game of puffer ball, when, of course, the great white shark shows up. Mike also creates custom alphabet prints for your favorite name or letter.

Music is provided by pianist David Crout, and Summerhouse is our business of the week. They offer real estate and event location services. Come on out and meet your neighbors and make new friends. Taking a stroll through your local farmers market will get your Saturday off to a great start.
