Fine Jewelry, Leatherworks, and Home Decor’ at the Art Market on Amelia

The Fernandina Beach Arts Market will also be open on July 14th. Located adjacent to the farmers market, you’ll find nearly 30 booths of handmade arts, crafts, jewelry, woodworking, and more. LaSoucique is a fine art jeweler who specialized in custom silver work and repairs. House of Jaguar features amazing leather fashion apparel, handbags, and accessories, and Reel It Up creates whimsical sailboats from found driftwood and nautical canvas pieces. These are just three of our amazing vendors on-site this Saturday.

Entertainment will be provided by Jenn Burns Staples, and our new Talented Youth series will feature Tyson Graham, a 12 year old juggler and magician.

Our Booth with a Cause will be Florida State College at Jacksonville, on hand to answer your questions about the Nassau Center and fall enrollment. The City of Fernandina Beach will also have representatives at the Market Place to talk about their Sadler Road improvements. Market Place sponsors include Sudden Impact, impact resistant window coverings for your home, and All American Gutters. How does a gutter system that you never have to clean sound to you?

Summertime is grilling season and you can get all you need for a fabulous outdoor meal at the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market. JD Beef is running a special on their grass fed T-bones, porterhouse, tenderloin and fillets. Chesser Seafood is bringing plenty of red royal shrimp, and their wild caught, local jumbo shrimp are running 13 to 15 count per pound. Not to be overlooked, you can get Alaskan salmon and scallops at the farmers market, too. Our fresh produce vendors bring an amazing selection of seasonal vegetables to create amazing grilled kabobs, or even a fresh bowl of salad.

Don’t for get your pets in your outdoor feasts. Bark N Bake has new flavored dog treat. I think my dogs would like the country apple-cinnamon and peanut butter, peanut butter chomps, as well as their chicken, beef, or deer jerky.

Both markets are located in historic Fernandina Beach, on North Seventh Street, between Centre and Alachua Streets. The markets are open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., rain or shine, and remember – your “well-behaved” and leashed pets are always welcome!

For more information, stop by the management booth and ask for “Judie.”
