Our two day Hometown Holiday was a great time! Saturday, N. 7th Street was full of shoppers admiring the handcrafted talents of their neighbors and friends as the Arts Market joined forces with the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market for the very first time! The adjacent parking lot held arts and craft exhibits, while the natural, organic and food products our community is so fond of, stayed in their regular downtown locations.
Rains overnight on Saturday were followed by cooler temperatures, as vendors held faith the raining would stop and they put up their tents on Sunday morning to welcome customers.
The lot at the corner of 14th and Lime Street was transformed into a Christmas Village with food, arts, crafts and Santa Claus was on hand to greet the children with candy canes!
