Over in the Arts Market you will find a variety of quality arts and crafts made by talented crafters. Look for jewelry, apparel, pottery, wood working and more. Meet the makers and learn what inspires them to create. Ice dyed fabrics and clothing are available by Color Peace; this is not your mother’s tie dye! Mike’s Makings booth is full of yard art. He has bird houses, wooden birds, flower boxes, pink flamingos and other colorful creations. Made 4 U by Granny C is a booth with hooded baby bath towels and adorable dog apparel. Hooked by Faith is artist Faith Elliot who works in several mediums. She has water color paintings, jeweled gift items, metal and glass work, and more. There is something for everyone.
Both markets are open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. The farmers market is located on North Seventh Street and the Arts Market is located adjacent to the Market Place in the parking lot behind Pineland Bank at the corner of Eighth and Centre Streets.
