The Fernandina Beach Arts Market will be open on February 24th. Located in the parking lot behind the Pineland Bank at Centre and Eighth Streets, there will be over 20 arts and craft vendors like fine jewelry, turned wood crafts, paintings, canvas art, purses, handbags, quilts, soaps, stained glass, wind chimes and more.
The Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers market will also be open February 24th and offers an amazing selection of nearly 40 vendors who specialize in fresh baked breads, seasonal produce, landscaping plants, succulents, hanging baskets, shrimp, seafood, beef, and pork, and a variety of sauces, spreads, jams, and jellies.
A new singer/songwriter of Americana music (bluegrass, folk) will be performing at the Market Place this Saturday. Laura Cramblet, originally from West Virginia, performs her original music in all parts of the country. Her songs and lyrics are both poignant and heartfelt. Her voice is warm and soothing while her guitar and hammered dulcimer playing are noteworthy. We are excited to have Laura at the markets this weekend and her music can also be heard on Spotify, Jango and other streaming stations.
The Fernandina Beach Arts Market and the Market Place farmers market are located on North Seventh Street in historic Fernandina. Open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., both markets will be open rain or shine. Well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome.
